The Past 2 Weeks!

Wow! It's been two weeks since I've posted. We've been busy, busy, busy.
Here's a little of what's been going on:

Kayla, one of my best girlfriends from high school that now lives in SanFran, stopped by for a quick visit while she was in Minnesota.

We got into an accident. We were all in the car (Erin driving, Ben passenger, Harper in his carseat in the backseat). Another driver pulled out in front of us on a 4 lane highway. We T-boned her. Thankfully everyone came out of the accident with only minor injuries. Erin and Harper had some abrasions. Ben has a broken rib (next to his sternum) and is still healing. The other driver had only minor cuts on her hand. Our car was totaled. We got a new (to us) vehicle just a few days ago. The whole accident was a very emotional ordeal. We are so thankful we are all ok.

Harper and his 2nd cousin, Sophia, spent a lot of time in this little pool during the Lines' Family Weekend at Erin's parents' cabin. They had so much fun kicking their legs splashing!

This week we are back and forth between home and Diane's house (Ben's mom) taking care of her dogs because she is out of town. We've been enjoying a little R & R by the lake! Here's some fun shots from our week so far:
Harper "playing" bean bags. :)

Mommy & Harper sharing a snack on the screen porch.

Our "we're on vacation" self-portrait! Look how excited Harper is!

One more note... we're now on a break from running our mini-donut/corn dog business because Ben is limited to sitting with his broken rib. We are thankful to have some time away from the craziness that the "carnie' life brings. With less donut events, we have more free time! If we haven't seen you in awhile, give us a call and let's get together! :)
